Ikari VR Character
As we did not have a concept for this character, I began designing the silhouettes directly in ZBrush. I kept iterating and designed the cyborg arms and legs to fit the agility archetype. For the hard surface parts I used Fusion 360 for faster iterations followed with the retopology process.
I was in charge with the high poly model, textures and hair cards.
In the VR game, the character will have access to two different sets of weapons. The first set, an Uzi, will be active in the default mode. The second set of weapons, Katanas, will be activated when the player activates their ultimate ability. This also changes the game mechanics to resemble Beat Saber’ gameplay.
